the HIGH DRIVE

With a hint of gunshot drifting on the sea breeze, The High Drive binds sweetness, smoke and salt and, when water is added, antique savoury notes. Only eight active distilleries remain in the Isle of Islay region.

FLAVOUR DESCRIPTION

Instantly smoky and medicinal on the nose with buttery fresh hints of oregano and sea breeze; mellow yet vibrant. At natural strength, the texture is lightly oily and the taste sweet, with some salt and an elegantly smoky finish. Water binds the tastes, introducing wonderful antique savoury notes. Complex, but subtle. Persistent, with a lively smoky impact.

THE DESIGN

Scotland is known for its outdoor pursuits, and The High Drive depicts the age-old practice of giving game a sporting chance on a traditional shoot; more of a challenge, and much appreciated, we’re sure, by pheasant and woodcock alike.
