FLAVOUR DESCRIPTIONComplex layered aroma, wood notes on top; pecan nuts, green tea and sanded oak, then a mélange of a fresh fruit cocktail of pear, apple, banana and lychees. At natural strength the taste is sweet and lively, with Granny Smith apples, rum toffee, drying in the long, spicy finish. With a spot of water, an elegant waxy note creeps in and a trace of camphor; the aroma becomes more floral with hints of tobacco. At reduced strength, it remains sweet and spicy with a hint of fresh plum.
Complex and vigorous. Great texture. A nice balance of age and freshness.
